Bio
Elley is a graduate of the Marriage and Family Therapy program at SDSU and has since returned as a lecturer. She has experience teaching graduate students in the MFT program and undergraduate students in the Counseling and Social Change Minor and Honors College. Her approach to therapy and teaching draws from postmodern philosophies and relies on a systemic, relational understanding of living and being in the world. She has collaborated with clients in community mental health, outpatient treatment, and private practice settings. In devotion to restorative practices, she believes in community and relationships as agents for inviting change and addressing harm. Elley infuses her Filipino roots and spirit of kapwa-togetherness into her personal and professional ethics.
